Eight Infinity Suite
Minimal Form, Infinite View
The Eight Infinity Suite, perched dramatically on the cliff edge in Plaka, the main town of Milos Island, offers a sculptural interpretation of Cycladic minimalism. Designed with sensitivity to both natural context and user experience, the suite is a retreat for those seeking understated luxury, panoramic Aegean views, and a sense of serene connection to place. At the core of the design is a fusion of clean white geometry, natural textures, and soft curvature, all harmonized to reflect the raw beauty of the island’s volcanic landscape. Built-in furniture, seamless transitions between materials, and integrated lighting elements enhance the flow and spatial coherence. Every surface and silhouette is considered for calmness, utility, and refined hospitality.
Interior Highlights:
– A carved bed platform with concealed LED lighting sets a peaceful tone in the bedroom, evoking a cocoon-like serenity.
– In the living space, a hand-carved wooden table anchors the room with organic contrast, reflecting the island’s handcrafted heritage.
– Expansive openings connect the interior to the private outdoor terrace, framing uninterrupted sea views and allowing natural light to fill the space throughout the day.
Outdoor Experience With A Balanced Cycladic Narrative
Stepping outside, guests are welcomed into a private dining nook overlooking the endless blue horizon. Designed for quiet mornings and golden-hour dinners, the terrace captures the essence of slow, sensory living, bathed in sea breeze, sky light, and silence. The Eight Infinity Suite exemplifies how modern design can embrace island vernacular without imitation. The use of textured stone, natural wood, and white-washed volumes pays homage to tradition, while contemporary detailing and spatial fluidity elevate the experience to one of bespoke hospitality.
