RM Penthouse | A Light-Filled Penthouse Residence in the South of Athens
Spanning 270 square meters across two levels, the RM Penthouse is a contemporary urban sanctuary that embodies spatial clarity, architectural elegance, and understated luxury. Designed by Danai Dios Architecture, this private residence reflects a refined approach to city living, where light, scale, and materiality come together in perfect harmony.
The design concept centers on a double-height living space with full-height glazing that captures expansive urban views while allowing daylight to cascade deep into the interior. This architectural gesture not only amplifies the vertical volume of the space but also sets the tone for a luminous, open atmosphere throughout the home.
Warm Minimalism with Custom Details
The material palette balances oak wood paneling, sculptural furniture, natural textiles, and marble surfaces. The living areas flow seamlessly into a kitchen defined by fluted cabinetry, integrated storage solutions, and a clean interplay of stone and timber—offering a sense of tactile warmth without compromising on sophistication.
The penthouse includes four generously sized bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom designed for comfort and privacy. A discreet guest powder room and a separate laundry room provide functional balance to the home’s serene aesthetic. Across both floors, the architectural composition emphasizes clean lines, balanced proportions, and subtle transitions. The result is a penthouse that feels sculptural yet soft, elevated yet livable—a thoughtful blend of form and function tailored to contemporary urban life.
